The Far Western hilly districts of Nepal are some of the least reached as well as least developed areas in the country. TEAM’s work in Nepal began in the Far West in the 1960s, when TEAM missionaries took over a small clinic in Dadeldhura. That clinic expanded over the years to become the regional health care center for the Far West, and we provided quality health care in Christ’s name. We will continue to use health care as a platform to share Christ's love moving forward. Our initiative’s focus has expanded to community health and education. Opportunities to further expand into other areas (agriculture, leadership training, youth ministry, micro-enterprise, etc.) abound as well. TEAM’s focus here in the Far West has always included encouraging and equipping the local church in order to establish reproducing churches.
