Biography:
Jessica Stam(b. April 23, 1986 in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada), simply called "Stam," is a Canadian supermodel.
Michèle Miller, an agent at the International Model Management agency in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, found Jessica in a local Tim Hortons coffee shop, on the way back from Paramount Canada's Wonderland, a theme park just outside Toronto.
Jessica has appeared in advertisements for Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Vera Wang, Atsuro Tayama, Cerruti Jeans, Valentino, Miu Miu, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Holt Renfrew, BCBG, and Banila B.
Jessica's career was set off when she appeared on the cover of German Vogue. Currently, Stam is blonde. (2005) She dyed her hair on a whim during summer and was cast for 54 shows.
Trivia
Currently dating 43-year-old Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In January 2006 she was photographed frolicking with Kiedis on the Caribbean island of St. Barts, topless.
Dated Harrison Ford's 18-year-old son, Malcolm, before Kiedis.
Marc Jacobs recently released a bag inspired by and named after her -- Stam Bag.
Appeared in the short film Agent Orange in 2004.
As soon as photographer Steven Meisel discovered 16-year-old Stam, he cast her in every ad campaign he did, and suddenly she was a star. "I guess I'm his muse," she has said of her mentor.
